artwork. Students will look at images by famous artists
and discover that artists use angles in art. |

If computer is unavailable use art prints in your school
that have angles in them.
- Have students
come up and find angles.
- Demonstrate
how to play the Angles Palm OS program.
- Play Angles
on the handheld.
- Record
the angles on their Angles in Art worksheet
- Demonstrate
how to complete the second page of the worksheet.
- Have students
complete the backside of the worksheet.
- Demonstrate
how to use the materials listed on the worksheet to create an
artwork.
- Show examples,
but tell students they have to come up with an original idea.
- Students
will use a variety of materials to create their artwork using
the angles recorded on the worksheet.
- While the
students are working on their art, read When Pigasso Met Mootisse
and/or Getting to Know the World’s Greatest Artists: Pablo
Picasso.
- After all
students have finished their artwork, have students exchange
artworks and hunt for angles in each other’s artwork.
- Present
artworks to the class and give compliments.
