    • Students will be able to find geographical characterstics in their own neighborhoods.

    Procedures

    1. Students will observe many different climates throughout the world, using the atlas and their World Geography books.
    2. Students will observe the different types of land areas throughout the world again using the atlas and their books.
    3. Students will brainstorm what they expect to see in their own neighborhoods.
    4. Students take pictures around their neighborhoods.
    5. Students present their pics to the class.
    6. After students presenf pictures, they are required to write, using a word processing program such as word smith or word to go, a summary of their findings as well as why they found what they did.
    7. Students will present their findings to the class.
