Students
will research a state in depth.
Students
will demonstrate knowledge by creating a virtual tour of
their state and creating a quiz covering their tour.
Students
will learn about other states through classmates’ tours
and quizzes.
Procedures
Work with
students in creating a plan sheet for their Sketchy tour.
Do this during or after covering a state unit.
Give students
several days to complete a virtual tour using Sketchy.
Students create a
5-question quiz covering their tour using Quizzler.
Allow
students the opportunity to present their tours to other
class members. Students may take the quizzes following the
tour. Conclude with a discussion of knowledge gained.
Early
finishers may use Herbert’s 50 States.
