Fences
Fences is a game for two players. Each player takes turns
connecting pairs of dots in his pattern (black or gray)
in an attempt to build a line from a side of the board
to the other in same pattern. Dots cannot be connected
through the opposing player's fence. |
Grouper
Puzzle-card game played by finding groups in a set of
cards. You look for matches that are completely different! |
Hexplode
Two player strategy game played on a grid of hexagons.

Jumpwire
Fast paced puzzle game where you have to connect the postive
and negative blocks together by rotating the wire segments. |
Lights
Out
The object is to turn off all the lights; not so easy
since when you turn one light on or off, the surrounding
lights also switch states. |
Logic
Game
This is a two player game where players move "L"
shaped pieces and balls into a position so the other player
cannot move. This is great for students to write an expository
paragraph about their game strategy. |
Marbles
Squared
The aim of the game is to clear all of the blocks on the
grid by tapping and removing block ''sets''. Students
can test and share strategies. |
Memorix
Memorix is like the game of Memory, only with a single
player. The player tried to match all tiles before the
time runs out! |
Minefield
Puzzle game where you must flag the mines to win the game. |
MyGuess
Try to guess a random number selected within the given
range in the fewest amount of tries. |
PalmLinez
The purpose of the game is to build up a horizontal, vertical,
or diagonal line consisting of five or more one-style
balls. |
PalmSimon
PalmSimon plays a pattern with lights and sounds that you try to repeat. |
Parking
Lot
Get your car out of a crowded parking lot by moving your
car as well as other cars and trucks as needed. This game
certainly takes spatial intelligence and inventive thinking! |
Pilotski
The object of the game is to maneuver
the red block to its destination in the fewest number
of moves. |
Pionmor
Each turn, you place a barrier and a coin. If you close
a cell containing an adverse coin, it vanishes and you
make 1 point. Each time you align 5 coins, you make 5
points. Play against the computer, a friend, or beam between
handhelds. |
PocketCity
A free version of SimCity for your handheld. Attract people to your city, collect taxes, and rebuild after disasters. |
Quads
and Quazars
The object of the game is to complete a square using four
pieces. Includes one or two player modes. |
Reflax
Test your mind and hand reflexes as you try to match the
color a word spells with one of four colorful circles.
It's harder than you think because of the Stroop
Effect. |
SameGame
The object of the game is to remove as many tiles as possible
and removing tiles in the largest possible groups. The
larger the group of tiles removed, the higher your score! |
Shuffle
The goal of Shuffle is to press the switch buttons until
the cells are arranged in order. |
SimonSayz
A simple, musical memory game. The game starts with one
note and continues until you make a mistake. |
Sudoku
Place digits 1-9 on a grid so that each row, column, or 3 x 3 section contains exactly the numbers 1-9. Read more about Sudoku in my blog. |
Summing
Mathematical tile game to practice adding numbers. Get
instructions here or listen to Soft Reset #9. |
Tetravex
Drag the tiles into the top left area so that any two
adjacent numbers are the same. |
TicTacTough
TicTacTough is a version of Tic-Tac-Toe. The program also
keeps a list of statistics as you play. It keeps track
of games won, lost and drawn, as well as percentages.
Great for teaching ratios to students. |
Vexed
Vexed is a challenging puzzle game. The object of the
game is to clear all of the tiles from each level in the
least number of moves. Tiles with the same markings must
be placed next to or on top of each other in order to
be cleared from the board. The tiles follow the rules
of gravity. Read the help menu in
Vexed for more instructions and tips. |
XrOw
Place five pieces in a row in a 16 x 16 grid. This is
quite a challenging game! |
