iPod Calendar & Contacts

You can sync calendars from Outlook (Windows) or iCal (Mac). Connect iPod to the computer. In iTunes, click the iPod's name under Devices. Click the Contacts tab. Check the box next to Sync Calendars. Click the Apply button. Each time you connect the iPod to the computer, the calendars will be updated.

To access the calendars, select Extras from iPod's Main menu. Then choose Calendars and then All. Scroll to a date and click the Center button to view the items for that date.

You can sync Contacts from Outlook (Windows) or Address Book (Mac). Connect iPod to the computer. In iTunes, click the iPod's name under Devices. Click the Contacts tab. Check the box next to Sync Contacts. Click the Apply button. Each time you connect the iPod to the computer, the contacts will be updated.

To access the contacts, select Extras from iPod's Main menu. Then choose Contacts. An alphabetical listing appears.

Keep in mind that contacts don't just have to be limited to address book information. Students and teachers could input vocabulary words, famous people, important events, etc. into Outlook or Address Book to have them synced to an iPod.
