iPod Reference
There are companies that produce dictionaries, encyclopedias, thesauri, and other references for iPods. These references are placed in the Notes section of the iPod. Some references have the option to place the dictionary into iPod’s Contacts section for easy viewing.
Some references for use on iPods include:
- Merriam-Webster Pocket Dictionary ($10)
- iDictionary Dictionary and Thesaurus ($10 - Mac only)
- Encyclopedia Britannica Precise References ($5 each)
- Of course, you could make your own references by placing your own text files in Notes.
iPREPpress has 10 U.S. documents you can download for free to iPods, including the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights, Emancipation Proclamation, Monroe Doctrine, and more. iPREPpress also sells dozens of study guides and other resources for iPods.
